Where Our Story Began
Our journey started long before the company was officially born.
Founder Andreas Cooke, previously a Manufacturing Manager at Growth Technology, spent years working with hydroponic nutrients and saw first-hand how essential deionised and distilled water are to creating high-quality formulations. This sparked a fascination with pure water—how it’s made, how it behaves, and how many industries rely on it daily.
Living in Somerset for over 20 years, Andreas found inspiration on the Somerset Levels, particularly Burrow Mump—a place close to his heart and the birthplace of the company’s name and vision.
When Andreas teamed up with co-founder Adam Frampton, whose strong financial background brought strategy, structure, and balance (the yin to his yang), the foundation for a new kind of water solutions company was formed.

Meet Our Founder- Andreas Cooke
Andreas Cooke founded The Somerset Clear Water Company in 2023, inspired by more than two decades of experience in the hydroponics and horticultural industries. As a former Manufacturing Manager he developed a deep understanding of pure water and its importance across everything from plant nutrition to sensitive equipment.
Living in Somerset for over 20 years, Andreas found the inspiration for the company during walks around the iconic Burrow Mump — the place where the idea truly took shape. His vision was simple: create reliable, high-quality purified water and plant nutrient solutions that people can trust.
As Founder & Managing Director, Andreas leads the company with a commitment to quality, sustainability, and Somerset heritage at its core.
Adam Frampton-Co-Founder & Director
Adam Frampton brings over 20 years of professional experience to The Somerset Clear Water Company, drawing on a long career within the health and wellbeing sector. As a CII-certified specialist, he has worked across both the insurer market and intermediary sector, giving him a strong, holistic understanding of customer needs, risk, and business strategy.
His background includes advising individuals, SMEs, and large organisations on tailored health and wellbeing solutions — experience that translates directly into his role at the company. Adam’s ability to assess complex requirements, build strong relationships, and make insight-led decisions plays a key part in guiding the growth and structure of the business.
As Co-Founder & Director, Adam oversees strategic planning, financial operations, and long-term development. His proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to clear communication help ensure the company remains stable, scalable, and grounded in strong customer care.
