The Somerset Clear Water Company was founded in 2023. From our Somerset beginnings, we have grown into a UK water manufacturer based in Dunkeswell, South West.
Distilled and Deionised water, made in the South West
Our core business is manufacturing distilled water and deionised water at our premises in the South West, supplying customers throughout the UK.
Our range includes:
- Distilled water for applications such as CPAP humidifier chambers, steam irons and humidifiers, where recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
- Deionised water for cleaning, automotive maintenance, manufacturing and technical applications where low mineral content is required.
- A choice of pack sizes and bulk quantities, from individual containers and multipacks to pallet orders for regular business use.
For specialist equipment or commercial processes, we encourage customers to compare the relevant water specification with their manufacturer’s requirements. We can provide Certificates of Analysis on request to help customers assess suitability.

Meet Andreas Cooke — Founder & Managing Director
Andreas Cooke is the sole director of The Somerset Clear Water Company. He brings more than two decades of experience in manufacturing and the horticultural industry. In his previous role as Manufacturing Manager at Growth Technology, he developed a detailed understanding of purified water and the importance of consistent quality in production.
That experience sparked his interest in the many ways distilled and deionised water support everyday tasks and specialist applications.
Today, Andreas leads the manufacturing and operational side of the business, focusing on product quality, consistency and reliable supply.
Meet Martha Cooke — Marketing & Customer Care
Martha’s background is in marketing and advertising. Before taking time away from her career to start a family, she worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for two wedding magazine publications.
She now brings that experience to our family business, running the website and managing our marketing, advertising and customer care.
Martha is passionate about making it straightforward to shop with us, from clear product information to helpful answers when customers have questions. Together, we combine practical manufacturing knowledge with a personal approach to looking after our customers.
